IBADCC Board members have announced the following updates to certification requirements in light of the COVID-19 pandemic:
The current requirement of obtaining 50% of your continuing education hours via in-person trainings will continue to be waived. You will remain having the option to obtain all education through online programs, including those needed to meet the professional and ethical responsibilities requirement.
All individuals whose certifications were set to expire before August 1, 2020 were given a six month grace period to renew due to the effect state closures may have had on already scheduled in-person training needed to obtain required CE for their renewals.
