 About this event

Join us at the LifeStar Boise offices located at the Tech Mall, on the corner of Overland and Cloverdale, to learn about the brain and its impact on addiction.

Whether you are in the addictions and mental health fields and would like to enhance your knowledge OR you are someone that struggles with addiction or is effected by someone that is struggling with addiction, this workshop is for you.

This presentation will provide you with the basic mechanisms and functions of critical parts of the brain involved in the relapse process! Individuals will have a better understanding of how the different parts are catalyst in relapse and how to identify where they get stuck and how to go about moving through the primal, emotional and up to the executive function part of the brain when faced with triggering stimulus!

How the emotional pleasure reward center is a huge factor in relapse and how to get the higher function back on line to avoid the relapse!

Snacks are provided.

Professional CEU's also available. Certified by MHACCBO and recognized by IBADCC
