Job Description
Pro Active Behavioral Health in South Central Idaho is looking for MS/MA Interns whose field of study is mental health counseling or addiction studies, Licensed practitioners with CADC, ACADC, LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, or MAC who are interested in working in out-patient Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment Programs in Twin Falls, Gooding and Burley, Idaho. Job duties would include provision of patient-centered, trauma focused treatment to adults and adolescents diagnosed with substance use disorders and mental health issues. Applicants would be responsible for conducting comprehensive diagnostic assessments and treatment planning, intensive out-patient substance abuse treatment groups, DBT/CBT Groups, individual psychotherapy and recovery support sessions, collaboration with Veteran’s Treatment Court and other problem-solving courts, and provision of gender specific treatment groups. This position requires a general knowledge of ASAM placement criteria, motivational interviewing techniques, Stages of Change and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Applicants must be licensed in the State of Idaho, or willing to obtain an Idaho License and be able to bill Medicaid and other Insurance Boards. All applicants must be able to pass an Idaho Criminal History Background Check, and pre-employment drug screening.
